My lifelong dream was to help as many people as possible. This dream became a reality when I started my counseling career at Milan. Over 20 years ago, I began my career working with the adult education program at FCI. Currently I am a counselor for 6th graders, and also for the 5th graders at Symons Elementary. I split my time between the two buildings. Working with students of all ages has been extremely fulfilling. I really enjoy upper elementary and middle school children. I love to knit, garden, and spend time with my family. My husband and I enjoy traveling. He is an engineer at GM who also does long distance bicycling, and geneology research in his spare time. My daughter, Catherine, attended the U of M School of Art. My son, Jon, attended EMU and Wayne State University. My family is a source of great joy and comfort to me as are my two cats, Macie & Mimi.
