I began my career in Milan teaching on a two person team. I delivered instruction in Math & Science to groups of 6th grade students while my colleague was responsible for English & Social Studies. Teaching on a team was very enjoyable and I through ally enjoyed the 6th grade students.
Currently I am the counselor for students in 7th & 8th grade. I have been in this position for about 10 years and love it. While challenging, I enjoy working with students, families, and staff on a wide range of issues. The issues children and families must face everyday are numerous. I absolutely love spending time with my two boys, Gavin who is 7 years old & Griffin who is 4 years old. They keep my husband and I laughing and on our toes. I enjoy traveling, running, gardening, and a good book. We are also big Michigan State fans and hold season tickets to both basketball & football.
